Great weather – upper 50’s – clear blue skies – 11 participants! Excellent push-up/core cycles. Rotated among jump rope and 180 deg cone jumps and side-shuffle ball passes for the first cardio block.  A challenging leg/cardio segment followed…

Monday, April 26th, 2010

Cloudy, a bit more humid.  A bit more cardio today – including a plank relay, some suicides, and 2 min of jumprope. Push-ups + core work and a fairly heavy leg cycle were also included.

Overcast, but great temps – mid 50’s.  Very heavy cardio day today – suicides, speed ladder, hurdles, jump rope, mountain climbers, med ball taps.  Strength and core work as well, and we went longer today on some leg strength exercises.  Everyone pushed a bit harder today and it showed.

Partly cloudy, high 50’s. Started with an off-road dynamic warm-up. 150 push-ups total, with heavy core emphasis. Solid cardio loop to break up our push-ups. Some added legwork and a few stations at the end.

Overcast – low 50’s.  We got warmed up pretty quickly with some super-set push-ups and solid core / leg work.  We upped the time durations for jump rope, and did three consecutive sets of bicycle crunches at one point – everyone rose to the challenge nicely…

Beautiful weather – great conditions.  More strength than usual this morning, lots of push-ups and core work.  Side shuffles with the ankle tubes seemed to be a real crowd pleaser today – we will feel those tomorrow.
